IM BORED!!

What a day. Had a quiz early in the morning at 930 and now i gotta wait til 6pm for my jap lesson. Actually feel like skipping, but it's the last lesson, gotta go and see what v last tips he can give for my listening and oral exam next week. Even if he dont give tips, I think i will feel more at ease.

Now in computer lab, so many people, and they look like final year students. Cos they seems to be rushing for their final year reports. So scary. i see how much they did for their report, i just wonder what i will do next time. Guess i will be super duper STRESS.

I also saw people doing their "master" degree here doing their proj. I overheard that even with Cs and Ds, u can still do masters. (i didnt mean to Eavesdrops) Good news for me. But at least i wont be that depress over my year 1 grades. Anyway, i dont think i have the financial to do masters. It's still a long journey for me. I still have no goals to what exactly i want to do. So indecisive of me. Sometime, I think this route of mine that im walking is not a bright route, i am afraid that I make a wrong choice, and regret for my whole life. I always try to persuade that u are extraordinary, there will be some things that i excel more than others. But so far, results are not very encouraging.

OH!! i know what i want now is good results. And have a 2nd upper class honours in my course, and minor in biz and some jap language knowledge where i can converse more confidently. I shall go back to my studies now. I dont think i can really catch up. BUT i will TRY MY BEST!! I can do it. I shall not break down like last time. I had grown stronger.

Had an interesting jap lesson. As we ended earlier, my sensei went off chattering about his work experience and in japan, what he studied. He really studied weird things, eg Indian music, Judo. Then he talk about Sumo's wives are all very kirei (pretty). Hontoni? (really?) He said Sumo is considered hero so they can pick their wives. of course pick pretty pretty ladies.

Then he continued about earthquakes in Japan. He mentioned about this famous earthquake (Kandodai jishin aka 关东大地震) that usually happens in Tyoko every 50 years with a magnitude of Ritcher Scale of 9. But up till now, it has been 70 to 80 years and nothing happen yet. He explained that with all the stress accumulated on the plates, the next time if there is an earthquake(which could be anytime), it will not just be magnitude 9. So, people in japan are looking at birds migration, fishes and the temperature and level of sea water to predict. He made it sounded so scary. Then he also said, Chinese usually suffers in such natural disaster, cos we dont know how to prepare ourselves and react to it.

So people visiting Tyoko, 3 things u must rem to do if u experience earthquake.
1st :
Switch off all electrical appliances, lights. (this is to prevent fire)

2nd: find some stuff, be it a cloth or folded paper, stuck it between the door before it close.
(so that when the door is crushed, it will create a hole in the middle and allow u to escape)

3rd: hide under the table (this will prevent falling objects from killing you)

DONT RUN OUT of the building. It will be the fastest suicide.

Interesting isnt it?

Is it that once we grow up, we cant be afraid of insects? Everytime I teach my tuition kid, there bound to be small insects in the utility room. Insects like small moth, wasp, and some I don't know what they are, will fly in. I always try to maintain my calm but once, my kid actually went out to ask for help from his parents. SO EMBARRASSING! The dad was saying "U so big still scare of insects ah?" and shake his head and walk off. I just stood there and stoned for a moment.

I am breaking this news again for people who have yet to hear. I got selected for the Global Immersion Programme to China next sem. And so are my friends. I am very happy but at the same time sad. don't know if I was having mood swing at that time, I actually teared. I cant bear to leave here. There are so many wonderful friends and my parents here. Albeit it is just for 22 weeks, I think I will miss home.

The cost for the whole trip are steep (S$ 6k+) and the pay there ranged from S$0 onwards. I pondered on whether I should give up this chance. After sorting out some thoughts, I decided to go. This opportunity is not given by chance. If I dont go, I may regret. It may be my only chance to work overseas. Anyway, anyone got any friends in Shanghai or Beijing? I may want to source out cheap housing myself there.

I must say projects are too time consuming. Just having 2 projects are already killing me. I have not gotten the time to study my things. Exams are nearing, I feel so unprepared and unsafe. Whenever I reached home, it was already late. It is impossible to study.

I just wish I got more time. I dont know what I do in sch. Go sch but not to tutorials and lectures. This sem I had been too slack. All my saying of being a good student went 'pooff' . i just hope I can catch up in this short period.

3 quizzes just past, and all of them sux. cos I dont know how to do and I just practically do guessing game for those multiple choices. And sit there to rot for time to pass by. Finally time's up. I GAVE UP!

I am always a lazy bum. still thinking if i really qualify to go overseas exchange to China. Last week, i went for the interview. It went quite well. The most difficult question posed to me was " What is your dream?" I really have no idea what i want to do in future. Im a aimless person, no dreams, unless u call my daydreaming as a dream. lolz

This week will be another busy week. Rushing all the projects which are going to due soon.
