I had fun in hangzhou. just that i got friend who is so power that she got menses, cramps and she still want to come hangzhou. And she can tahan for the whole day without going to the toilet. Peifu...But she walk very slow, and abit outcast by us.. so the guy pei her. But i still think her main motive is to get the guy to accompany her..

I am beginning to think that engineering may not be my cup of tea. It is stress working here. For the past 2 weeks, I had been reading notes and notes and more notes. And they were all in chinese. Finally when i received a book in english, i was so happy. At least i could read faster. Everyday i gotta do a verbal report during the morning meeting and after the whole day before i leave office, i gotta report to my supervisor again. So stress. I always treat it like exams, trying to rem what i read.
I was not even hardworking during school days, can u imagine me studying at home too...
Now my training is over, My supervisor asked me to design jig for inspection. Something that i never learnt before, even my colleagues were saying it was impossible to learn in a few days time. no one really know how to design it. *faint* I feel stress and the pressure on me. When will i feel more relax?
Sometimes, having things to learn is not good, but not having things to learn is equally not good. so contradicting.
Away from the work topic, back to myself. I had been having stomach upsets. i was wondering whether it was stress that was causing it, or that my stomach is not used to the food. hmm.. but im alright. i will take good care of myself. during the weekend (while i was in hangzhou), 2 of the ppl that came to shanghai for attachment were hospitalised. one of them got bronchitis. and i heard his medical fees is like RMB 9000 (S$1800), another one suffered from breathing difficulties.
It made me worry too, cos i have breathing difficuties twice in just 3 weeks. Usually in singapore, I have breathing difficulties only once in a few months. hmm.. think my heart is growing weaker.

My rabbit , Cabbage, passed away on 21st july. (The day i left for Hangzhou.)
It was sudden as cabbage was still well and fine the day before.. hopping and eating well. I really wondered what happened overnight. I woke up and saw it lying in the cage trying to get up, but it just couldnt seems to be able to move its head up.
Cabbage was only with me and 2 of its owners for 1 week. Maybe i just dont have the animal fate. At least we all get to spend time with it the day before it passed away. We tried to spend time with it on 21st july when we saw it struggling, we wanted to send her thru its last journey. We just had the feeling that it would not last to the end of the day. And when we left the house not long, Benny's housemates called and say Cabbage died. I just had the feeling that Cabbage was saying her last goodbye to us before we left for out trip. kinda creepy but.. haiz.

I feel that shanghai is about the same as singapore. nothing much to go. maybe i haven travel much. but me and my friend always wait for the illegal roadside shops to open. they open only at 10pm. and i realise that the ppl here like hairpins and does teddy bear kind and small towels cos the illegal shops are selling all these. hmm.. cant really get what i want.
The train ends its services very early at 11pm. so yesterday me and my friends took cab back. and all of us actually dont have much cash left. haa. in the end, we call one of the guys to come down with $ to lend us pay taxi fare. so embarassing. i think among all of the pple who come here, me and my friends are not very happening. i got guys going karaoke and clubbing le. they even went to salsa dancing. And some ppl already went to suzhou, hangzhou, huangshan. My god. why are they in the rush? hmm.. maybe i should start too. haa.
Im studying for work now. gotta read something to show my supervisor. I gotta do verbal report to him before i knock off. And it is like oral test. im reading chinese characters like for 150 pages. but after 1/2 a page, i always doze off. i hope he dont know that i doze off in office. anyhow, i gotta get zzz. today is a new week. 21 weeks more to go. and i will be free!

Btw, i got a rabbit(shared among 2 other friends). It is cheap (RMB35). my friend benny named it "Cabbage". haa. just now i hurt it cos it drop off from a certain height when i want to pick it up. I thought its leg was broken, but luckily not. PHEW~ thank goodness. i must really handle with care.

This is taken on the coach on the way to our orientation dinner with the seniors. then the park near my hse.
We went Qi Pu Lu on the second day. Cos we heard it is a good place to shop. and that xiangyang street is rumoured there. But the clothes they sell are mainly t-shirts. things are cheap. we tried our bargaining skills. But after buying i think we can buy lower. Next time can pull the price down. there are bags.. u know what kind of bags la.. those sports brand of bags are quite limited. but the rest not that bad. we took a cab down to qi pu lu. here are some photos taken on the cab.
This is at the Bu Xing Jie. Nothing much though. just walk and walk. we din bother to go to the shops to shop. but the night scene is nice. below got some night scene.

Today I am officially going to start my training. Train for about 1 week plus, then familiarize the place and machine, and start writing a flow chart project to minimize defective goods and increase yield. Im in the quality control dept. I do not really understand the job scope, my direction is still abit unclear. Anyhow, the people here that I am working with are all very friendly people. I was invited to their dinner yesterday. It was supposed to be a farewell dinner for my senior who had attached under them before and since I am here to sorta replace him, they used it as a welcome dinner for me too.
I can sense that my boss expect me to be as good as that senior. Feeling abit stress, cos he implemented a system all by himself. I must Jiayou!! My senior said that I looked stress. I must really get use to working life and have more confident in myself. I felt tired these few days having to wake up so early to go work. I want to sleep!
Every morning they have their morning session meeting. And just now, my supervisor told me that I need to submit daily report on what I did. God! I wonder do I need to write daily report even when im undergoing training? Die le. All the best to me. And one more thing, my boss dont like pple to msn. So I must do it discretely. If not, the company is gg to ban the msn again.

hey pple, im well and fine here. But the problem here is that i cant access my blog but i can post. which indirectly means that i cant visit all ur blogs.. So if anything, pls just tag. keep me at least abit updated. if not, can u all send me a copy to my email for me to read. Im like kinda bored here. dont know what to do. TV is boring cos every shows that they are airing, i watched before. :( anyway, if u got nice shows to recommend me. pls let me know.
i will load the photos soon. cos my home wireless router.. cannot make it. sian. Now at office, but boss not around so me and my friends are at the meeting room msn-ing, blogging, gaming... sshh!!
the place here is different from singapore. i must get used to the culture here. but the roads and vechicles here, i dont know how to describe. one thing for sure is that they like to horn. horn even when the street is empty. Anyway, if any of u, want to come shanghai during hols, can come my apt. it is quite small but can accomodate 2-4 ppl ba. just so long that u can treat us food. lol. Btw, street food restuarant is cheap here. esp ajisen(everywhere is ajisen). but crystal jade and din tai fung, they are about the same price range as singapore.

Been so busy meetin people for the past few days, eat and eat and eat. think my waist must have widen more than 3 inches. I also gotten sick too. dont know why all of the sudden sick. Luckily im alright now. neway, as for the photos, i dont really have the time to post them up. so people, bear with me k?
Im gonna miss everyone in Singapore. Flying tomorrow and I have yet to pack my things. I only finished washing some of the things I need to bring over. Hopefully tomorrow they will dry. Im always the last minute person. Whatever it is, my bed is in a mess, with all kinds of clothes that I took out. Still thinking what to bring. Haiz. Scare my luggage bag cant fit. Lol.
Anyhow, i dont know what flight no im taking. But all I know is it is at terminal 1 and flight leave at 2040. haa. Seems to have thousand of things not yet done. And still need to do a few last minute shopping tomorrow. =p
BTW, The king and the clown movie (korean movie) is nice. Catch it if you guys have the time.
